International Advisory Board

-The Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Advisory Board (the International Advisory Board) are assigned by the Board of Directors, for a maximum period of (3) three years, and they can be replaced by a decision with reasons or renewal for them.

-The International Advisory Board is the advisory structure for (the Observatory) and monitors the progress of the work of (the Observatory) in line with the objectives declared in the statute.

-The Chairman of the Consultative Council and his deputy, whom he names the “Board of Directors” are assigned and they have to choose assistants for them and determine the mechanism of their council’s work in proportion to the selection and proposal of members to the Council in a way that suits the objectives of the (Monitor) and submit a list of the proposed members to the “Board of Directors” for official approval. “Board of Directors” Selection of members for the “Advisory Board”.

– Members of the Consultative Council may be human rights, social, media, political, diplomatic, or legal personalities without being officially affiliated with the (Observatory) provided that they are reputable and recognized for their integrity or who have made significant contributions to the human rights process.

1- The “Consultative Council” has the right to object before the “Board of Directors” to projects and decisions that it deems inconsistent with the objectives and system of the (Observatory) with an explanation of the reasons.

2- The “Consultative Council” has the right to review and study the requests submitted by the “Board of Directors” to provide advice and advise on it, provided that the file is returned to the stakeholders after 15 days from the date of receiving the request.

3- Submitting proposals on the names of activists or legal persons whose names are proposed to obtain (The Observatory) prizes or honor certificates in the name of (The Observatory )

4- Examining the pending membership applications, expressing a legal opinion on them, and returning them to the Board of Directors.

(The International Observatory for Documenting Human Rights Violations), is an independent Argentine international center, registered in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Argentina, as a non-governmental, non-profit organization, working with the aim of defending human rights and documenting violations around the world. It was established on the tenth of December 2015, and obtained the license Official from the Argentine government in the year 2021. The members of the observatory cover their activities in 64 countries.
We are a team of people who are interested and believe in the protection of human rights, in all countries of the world, especially in countries where defenders are subjected to the most severe direct targeting campaigns.
