Membership Application
The International Observatory for Documentation of Human Rights Violations welcomes membership applications from individuals committed to human rights principles and willing to contribute to the protection of rights and freedoms, the documentation of violations, and the advancement of human rights work in accordance with the Observatory’s statutes and objectives.

Membership Conditions
- Any person committed to human rights principles worldwide may become a member of the Observatory. To demonstrate this commitment, the applicant must present relevant activities carried out to protect and advance human rights and show the ability to support the Observatory within its fields of activity.
- Any individual wishing to become an individual member of the Observatory must submit a membership application directly to the Board of Directors or through the mechanism announced on the official website and provide the required information and documents.

Membership Admission Conditions
| Age | The applicant must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. |

| Civil Rights | The applicant must enjoy full civil rights and must not have been convicted of a felony or a serious criminal offense. |
| Education and Reputation | The applicant must possess an appropriate level of education and enjoy a good reputation. |
| Independence | The applicant must not hold a decision-making position in any political body, entity, or organization whose principles or interests conflict with the interests and objectives of the Observatory. |
| Institutional Commitment | Work for the benefit and interests of the Observatory and avoid conduct that may damage its reputation, harm it, or obstruct the achievement of its objectives. |
Members’ Obligations
- Promote the interests of the Observatory and avoid any act that may damage its reputation, harm it, or impede the achievement of its objectives at the local, regional, or international level.
- Support the efforts of the Observatory’s members and participate in activities and conferences.
- Comply with the Observatory’s published statutes and objectives.
- Comply with decisions issued by the General Conference or the Board of Directors.
- Pay the annual statutory membership fee determined by the Board of Directors.
- Inform the Board of Directors of any harm or violations suffered by any member of the Observatory.
How to Apply for Membership Online
The entire application process is completed through the Observatory’s official electronic system, from entering information and uploading documents to email verification and application-status tracking.

Click “Submit Membership Application” to open the official online application form.
Enter Your Information
Complete your personal information, contact details, qualifications, and required experience accurately.
Upload the Documents
Upload your CV, proof of identity, personal photograph, certificates, judicial or criminal record, and the other required documents. The system accepts PDF, JPG, and PNG files up to 50 MB per file.
Review the Application
Review all information and documents before final submission to ensure that they are accurate and complete.
Verify Your Email Address
After submission, a verification code will be sent to your registered email address. Enter the code to verify ownership of the email address and activate the application.
Review Begins
After successful verification, the application moves to “Under Review.” The committee may contact you if additional information or documents are required.
Membership Fees and Benefits
Annual membership fees are determined by membership category and contribute to sustaining the Observatory’s human rights programs, activities, and institutional work.
Annual Fee for Individuals
For individual members whose membership is approved in accordance with the Observatory’s conditions and procedures.
Annual Fee for Institutions
For institutions and organizations whose membership is approved by the Board of Directors under the applicable institutional procedures.
Official Membership Card
The membership card is issued to members whose membership has been formally approved and whose procedures have been completed in accordance with the Observatory’s internal regulations and organizational decisions.
The official membership card is issued by the International Observatory for Documentation of Human Rights Violations and contains the member’s information and a unique reference number that allows the card’s authenticity and record to be verified through the Observatory’s official website.
- Issued to members whose membership has been formally approved and who have completed the required procedures.
- Each card carries a unique reference and identification number linked to the approved membership record.
- Observatory membership cards are issued in Arabic, English, and Spanish according to the approved model.
- A member may use the card to demonstrate membership status within the scope of Observatory activities, in accordance with its internal regulations and applicable laws.
- Organizations and individuals may verify the authenticity and reference of the card online through the official verification system.

Honorary Membership
The Observatory may also grant honorary membership cards to individuals or entities that have made notable contributions to the protection of human rights or supported the human rights mission, work, and objectives of the Observatory, subject to an administrative decision and the applicable organizational rules.
