Dr. Abdul Aziz Tarekji (Researcher on International Human Rights Violations) said in a letter he published in three languages (Arabic, English and Spanish) on the anniversary of the issuance of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights on the tenth of December 1948, that since that date the peoples of the world celebrate this important historical day when It contains human and moral meanings that organize the life of societies and restore them to their humanity through the basic and natural rights and freedoms contained in human rights charters for every human being, regardless of his gender, race, religion, skin color, political or intellectual affiliation.
He added that at the same time that the standards of adherence to these texts and the lofty principles agreed upon by all parts of the world have been set, we are still witnessing many grave violations, restrictions and others that make these laws ink on paper from that date until this week’s anniversary of International Rights Day. Human rights, which coincides with the outbreak of the (Covid-19) pandemic that has exhausted the countries of the world, the spread of wars and armed conflicts in many regions, especially in the Middle East, as well as the growth of many terrorist organizations that have eradicated all concepts of human rights, and the human being has become a commodity or just A tool for the continuation of wars and the killing of mankind.
He emphasized that great threats occurred during this last year (2020), as he witnessed the perpetration of horrific terrorist acts that targeted civilians in European and Arab countries, for example (France), (Austria), (Germany), (Saudi Arabia) and (Syria). (Lebanon), (Iraq), (Libya) and (Yemen), where these violations were practiced on the basis of sectarian or sectarian strife and the establishment of countries to impose their hegemony and interference in the affairs of other countries through their financial and military support for terrorist groups with the aim of spreading chaos and targeting the security and safety of unarmed civilians With ballistic missiles and drones openly supported by the Iranian terrorist regime.
On the other hand, this year witnessed an unprecedented increase in violations of economic, social, cultural and environmental rights, with widespread poverty and unemployment in most countries of the developing world.
This year also witnessed a severe decline in the rights of children, women, people with disabilities, and marginalized groups, which made it difficult for them to obtain their legitimate rights, especially groups of those without identity papers and those without registration in (Lebanon).
dr. Tarekji demanded on the international community to urgently intervene to stop all armed conflicts in the Middle East region, adhere to international human rights conventions by all governments of the world, and the need to apply international human rights standards fairly and abolish the right of veto that allows for the absence of effective and serious solutions to stop armed conflicts through mechanisms International protection of human rights in the world.
In his message, he also called on all concerned international and regional organizations to work harder to put pressure on the international community, world governments, United Nations agencies, and Arab countries with swift and urgent actions to classify groups (Hezbollah), (ISIS) and (Houthis in Yemen) and all armed organizations supported militarily and financially from (Iran) as a dangerous international terrorist party that would harm stability and negatively affect international peace and security.
Dr. Tarekji confirmed , that the groups (the Iranian Revolutionary Guard) and (Hezbollah in Lebanon) and (the Houthis in Yemen) are working side by side with terrorist targeting the general public in the safe areas in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through missiles and explosive drones, he confirms without doubt that terrorism, which is inconsistent with all human and religious values in the world, has no religion, and that its goal is to kill the largest number of people, but rather to destroy and dismantle human societies, and that the repeated targeting of (Saudi) cities in this way entails a double and exceptional responsibility on society. International, not only in developing cooperation and combating terrorism, but also in working to dry up the sources of terrorism and besiege the supporters of terrorism in (Iran) or any other country, and to ensure that they do not escape punishment and bring them to international justice.
And concluded Dr. Tarekji, saying, as human rights defenders, we always stand in solidarity with the victims of terrorism, and we do not differentiate between terrorism and racism, and we consider that everyone who carries arms and works to terrorize and intimidate civilians and commits massacres here and there is a criminal and an international terrorist, and it is our duty to demand the pursuit of terrorists and those who support them Politically, militarily and financially, this is the least duty we do to serve humanity in the world.
